The patented technology to GPS, WiFi and sensor data to pinpoint the user's location, and then download a 3D model of the surrounding environment. But use sensor data may cause some errors, in order to bridge the gap between virtual scenes and real (drawing other augmented reality applications), Apple is using the iPhone camera to video broadcast, let users compare real and virtual elements included in the drawing. Once the match is successful, the user on the virtual image "piercing" building outer layer inside.

Apple has added a Flyover in the iOS map functions, provide 3D satellite imagery allows virtual interactions more, but this time add the augmented reality (AR). Storm mirror II released on the importance of VR contents

September released just over 3 months away, was held in Beijing this afternoon storm mirror launches the second generation of the storm. Second generation product provides some hardware upgrades, price remained 99 Yuan, plus 199 of the Edition. Conference there is a One More Little Thing, the wind still under development personal mirror 360 panoramic camera. But the only 30-minute press conference, CEO fengxin spoke up not the hardware, but the storm of VR contents planning.

First take a look at the second generation hardware upgrades, has the following main aspects:

Increase the interpupillary distance adjustment. Adapt to the 58-70mm PD, reducing ghosting;

Distance control: used directly below 600 degrees of myopia is not wearing glasses;

Heat: designed for a mobile cooling vents and cooling vents for the eye;

Optical design: made of resin material, increase transparency, reduce distortions;

Detachable front cover: is mainly to show phone camera, mirror APP has a "peep" function;

Remote control: the main shape is improved, raise the handle. The only media remote control is that the user interacts with the mirror.

Mirror II

Von using only a video describing the hardware upgrade next time talking about ecological layout of content.

210 partners

Mirror on the content types are mainly videos and games, Feng said at a presentation ceremony in 2015 to develop 210 partners, including:

1, enabling 100 panoramic photography team

Storm world for the team and products free of charge five devices. Provide platforms to launch business models help content for profit.

2, 100 units of VR games

Early does not charge any games into the storm.

3, years ago looking for 10 VR business partners

These people will become the mirror of team members, rather than a partner.

Author interview storm CEO Sharon fengxin after the press conference:

1, Glasoo Zhao Shanshan charged storm mirror patent copy how do you respond?

There is nothing to respond to, the Ministry of Justice did not receive the message, he could sue us.

2, cell phone and VR glasses VR helmet comparison, namely what role? Moschino new iPad case

VR device is like a pyramid, these two types of products are at the top and at the bottom of the pyramid, there are advantages. The former lower threshold--technology is not all that complicated, lower prices, easier to use the latter experience better, but the prices are too expensive, technology is more complex. So, to compare, I think VR faster due to the low threshold of popularity of mobile phones.

3, storm mirror sales next year, and what is expected?

Be at least 1 million.

4, the storm mirror would split out into a separate company?

Not sure yet.

5, how to make a profit?

There are two main blocks, one is directly charging for content, such as the panoramic view of the launch live requires 50 magic beans, we gave users 50 magic beans; second, panoramic advertising, advertisements placed in the latter part of the panorama, which is still in development.

Reporter: do you still see a patented plagiarism, people have dumped you two blocks

Author before publishing an article the tear forced war: entrepreneur accused of storm mirror patent of plagiarism in the VR world evoked widespread repercussions, immoral comments accusing a storm, also laments the domestic business environment difficult. Fengxin on storm the Conference did not express any attitude about it, the only argument as before--issues can be prosecuted. Meanwhile, rapid iteration storm products, extensive layout, especially in the emerging mobile VR above manufacturers have no advantage.

Allegations the two producers of the storm have launched their own VR products, whether they be copied the author cannot answer, but on the products and content, layout of the storm's speed is far faster than them. Zhao Shanshan said it would sue, but even if it did so, in the domestic legal context, it is difficult to get banned, hefty fine judgments. Moreover, the current strategy of rapid iteration of software and hardware of the storm, patent litigation is very easy to avoid in future products.

Mobile VR low threshold and high threshold of the content, mirror is forming advantages, entrepreneurs need to refuel.

In this period, the rapid rise in Chinese brands Huawei, ZTE, millet and domestic brands such as one plus the introduction of smart phones became very bright in the market exists.

　　Smartphone future

　　For now, Apple, Samsung is still the most popular brand of mobile phones, Android phones still dominate most of the market share, but by the year 2045, what mobile phones would be like? this equipment still exist?

　　We are unable to answer this question, after all, there's no way like the protagonist in the movie back to the future as time travel, but as technology upgrades, hardware upgrades, 30 years later, if there is such thing as a cell phone, will surprise us.
